Uncle Jeremy came to visit and we had a great time. My boys LOVE him. I think they may have called his name 3.8 million times while he was here. They couldn't get enough of him! We did a lot in the five days we had together. We took him out for his first fine dining experience, which he enjoyed. Roy's has yet to disappoint.
This is actually my creation and I call her Heidi. Maybe Heidi can guess why????
I could be wrong but I think there's more on his face than in his cup.
We've had picnics before but this was the first time I packed everyone an individual lunch bag. So simple and it made them surprisingly happy. I quote "THANKS MOM!", and "This is AWESOME!!". Glad I can still impress them so easily.
After we ate, they chased each other around the palm trees being silly.
Pictures, like these next ones, bring me a lot of joy as a mother, and I can already see Sebastian running right along side them. Time needs to slow down!
Hayden is getting so big. It's hard to believe I have a child this old.
Ahhhh. The sweetness of summer.
Amy, Robert and Romy also came to visit and it was great to see them. My boys, particularly Noah, loved having Romy here.
Oh my gosh, Romy is SO cute, and oh my gosh, Bastian is huge!
More picnics.
I finally broke down and bought a Bumbo seat and I'm so glad I did. How did I make it through 3 boys without one?! Sebastian likes to sit up and look around, and it supports him perfectly. We love it and use it everywhere.
If you don't know Marcus, then you won't appreciate this expression. He is one funny kid.
No story to this picture. I just want to remember this shirt. I really like it.
Uncle Jeremy finally got to meet Sebastian.
Amy, I don't know why we've never thought to get one of these after all our trips here. I love it. Thanks for letting us use it!
Boys at work...
Shark bait ooh ha ha.
The shark was no match for Hayden.
Treasured moments.
When Hayden found this monstrous clam, it was open. So glad it didn't get his fingers when it slammed shut.
Sunday there was a special musical number sung by the ladies. We were in the front row and Sebastian was completely mesmerized by them. He started crying when they were done. How adorable is he?!!
Some friends from home were in town and we got together for a BBQ. The house was full of boys, and they had a blast. They all made guns out of Trios & posed. Thanks for taking time out of your vacation for us! We loved having you over!
We can fly!!
Jeremy has taken up skydiving and wind-tunneling. He split his 30minutes of tunneling time with us and we all got to fly! It was stinkin' awesome and SO much harder than you'd expect.
Even Noah got to go!
I've never looked better...
Hayden wanted to go first.
Noah was a little freaked out at the time, but hasn't stopped talking about since. He wants to go again. We all do.
Me
Sterling made it look easy. The instructor said he's a natural and thought that he'd been skydiving before. Nope. He's just amazing.
Hayden
Marcus got to fly with the instructor. The tunnel goes up 40 ft. They didn't go all the way up but did go pretty high. So fun.
Watching Uncle Jeremy back fly.
We also got to watch Uncle Jeremy sky dive. Here's what I already knew, but got to witness with my own eyes.
Skydiving is very thrilling.
It is scary.
It is selfish.
It is crazy.
It is crazy.
It is nuts.
It is daring.
It is brave.
It is stupid.
It is fun.
It is exhilarating.
It is a rush.
Skydiving is a lot of things.
Mostly, it is something I'd never do....75% sure.
I had about 15 minutes to learn how to use Jeremy's new, super duper awesome camera. Here's me practicing.
Watching Uncle Jeremy board what we hope won't be his last plane. Haha. I can laugh about it now, but in the moment it was a real and scary thought. (he's the back right one in white shorts.)
He told me after he landed that his chute took and extra 4 to 5 seconds to open because something got stuck. I can only imagine how long those seconds must have been.
Safe and sound. Seriously though, can you find a less life threatening hobby Jeremy?
When Grandpa was here we took the boys to this carousel and to a mini train. They loved it so much that we went again.
These guys are so funny now, but I'll bet as teenagers, they'll be making me laugh even harder. They have great senses of humor.
I don't know where they get them.
For as much as they say they love the train, they sure look bored in all the photos.
This last clip is for Grandma. Thanks for the computer. He loves it still!
That's enough for now.
That's enough for now.
