A few people have inquired about my Chicago trip so here's a picture (can you believe we only took 1????) and a brief note on the expo. It was a Better Your Body expo lasting 2 days, Saturday and Sunday, with Friday for setup. My brother Brad is a chiropractor student at Logan University, and his wife Alanna is the one who got me into The Wholefood Farmacy. Thomas Bea is a chiropractor and friend of theirs who, like me, just flew in to help and spread some news about health and wellness. I must say, having two chiropractors around was pretty sweet! We all stayed at the Marriott which was within walking distance to the Navy Pier, where the expo was. Really nice hotel with the best continental breakfast I've ever had...fruit, eggs, fresh waffles, oatmeal, donuts & pastries, oj, sausage & egg mcmuffins...you get the point.
Also, we took Saturday night after work to experience a true Chicago style pizza. DELICIOUS! Deep dish crust, then cheese, toppings and the sauce on top. The crust was made with cornmeal...very good idea. The restaurant was called Gino's East. It was a really cool place, all brick, and inside there was writing all over the walls with markers, crayons, whiteout, and chalk. Just peoples names & stuff like that, so we all took turns trying to find an empty place to write. Seeing as Sterling wasn't there, instead of putting the date & our names, I put our names and anniversary date in crayon.
Brad drove me around town Sunday morning to do a little site seeing. The Sears Tower was pretty cool. Chicago is a beautiful city and yes, like every big city, traffic's outrageous...people honk just to make sure their horn's still there. Pretty hilarious actually.
Anyway, so much for my "brief" note. Here's our only picture!

It's funny because if you don't read the part about Sterling not being there you think...huh Sterling got shorter and is no longer Hawaiian. Haha...oh! that's actually just Brad and Alanna's friend..ok, I get it. :)
